Leave No One Behind
IOM - The UN Migration Agency remains committed to ensuring that no one is left behind during natural disasters.
Despite the challenging situation with floods in the West and North of Kazakhstan, IOM, together with its NGO partners, continues to provide assistance to its beneficiaries under the regional project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
Thanks to close communication with beneficiaries and regular monitoring, our NGO partner in Aktobe was able to promptly reach out to project beneficiaries and identify their needs.
Thus, by facilitating and collaborating with local executive bodies, the NGO was able to promptly provide beneficiaries with the assistance that will directly contribute to the implementation of their entrepreneurial initiatives within the IOM project.
