Mrs Tatiana Hadjiemmanuel, Head of IOM Almaty office discussed with Kazakh State University students on migration developments in Central Asia, March 28, 2017
International Organization for Migration(IOM)/The UN Migration Agency, Sub Regional Coordination Office for Central Asia, Mrs Tatiana Hadjiemmanuel, Head of IOM Almaty office/Deputy Sub Regional Coordinator for Central Asia, spoke with students of the Journalism department of the Kazakh State University in Almaty on March 28, 2017. Ms. Hadjiemmanuel discussed with students on migration developments in Central Asia and other parts of the world; presented the activities of the IOM in Central Asia which aim to strengthen the capacities of Government, communities and civil society partners for achieving sustainable results so that migration movements can be managed in a safe and humane manner, consistent with international migration law.
